At least a third of Holy Trinity church yard is covered in brambles again

So that peterp answers my question, the volunteers must have given up, but they did a lot of hard work in there and it was looking very good, such a pity they couldn't get more help, it's a large area to cover I understand they really grafted in there and praise to them for making it a pleasant place to visit.

Bambam I cleared around the in laws grave and the one to its right but the next grave you could barely see the headstone never mind the grave I had a walk over to what was left of the fence and looked down onto the brook and that area was not much better. I can remember when we used to access the trees via the gap in the railings at the dip on Booths Brow road and could walk all the way along the brook to Ashton even walking under the Dam bridge.I bet it is all fenced off now all the houses have been built

As kids we did same peterp, walk from Dell past Millingfords and under Dam Bridge through Bluebell wood and onto skitters, there is no access to Bluebell wood now from Dam corner as the Farmer has fenced it off due to fly tipping.

Who owns Blue Bell wood? I remember a few years ago a for sale sign near the dam

The wood belongs to mill farm, I think it's Jack Lyon's grandson Andrew who runs it now, he was the one having to clean all fly tipping up so he fenced it off.

I don't blame him for fencing off the land to stop fly tipping
