ime sorry to be leaving wigan world but after the abuse ive had this morning off someone who lives on the same estate as i it leaves me with no option, i dont know of any time i have directed any bad comments about this person or his family but he reccons he watches my postings, he was so wild jumping in and out of his car that it caused me to have a bad athsma attack, anyway its been great talking to you all love to all owd dave.

Dont let the buggers drag you down owd dave, it happened to me a few years ago, but the support I got from here was truly awesome, it ended with the person causing the trouble being moved from the site.

I always read Owd dave comments and have yet to see anything untoward at all.Ignore them and carry on posting

How sad for you to have been intimidated by this person so badly, owd dave. Shame on them! I know you are not young any more, and there is NO EXCUSE for this behaviour towards someone such as yourself. People get worked up over the most inane things, and abusing you in this way was ludicrous, and cowardly. This was not bullying it was about a snide remark he he came out with to my daughter while she was walking her dog.
Plus threats he made to my sister in law about parking on a public road.
He is not the vulnerable old person he makes out he is, and he's not as old as he says he is.
As for reporting it to the police i'll be the one reporting it if it carries on.

Why don't the pair of you just shake hands and be done with all the bad feeling.

From what you say the problem between both of you has nothing to do with WiganWorld, and is a private matter, and as such should have stayed that way.

Poor owd dave... I see the perpetrator that got dave so upset has explained his point of view. Fair enough. Can I just ask you - Is your daughter not old enough to sort out her own problems yet?? If she is still too young to do so, then you are too young to be picking on such an old man...

I know from what my old dad was like in his 80's, short on patience and with plenty of faults, that he became very sensitive and easily became emotional, as happens when you get quite old. Dave obviously took your comments to heart, and you should apologise for fighting your family's battles with an old man. No excuse! Im glad owd dave brought this to the discussion board, he had a right to tell us what his reason was for leaving.. you obviously scared the beejeebers out of him.

I am exactly the same age as him my daughter doesn't even know ive spoke to him about it and thats all ive done spoke to him.
His over reaction was unbelievable im just happy if he now leaves any of my family alone.
One of the things he said happened over 2 years ago i never said anything i just bottled it up but this was the last straw.
I just hope now i get no more trouble from him.

I take people as I find them and try not to be influenced by other peoples opinions which may be flawed, none of us know exactly what happened (we weren't there) we just have two peoples versions of what did and let's face it most people will only tell you what they want you to know.

Dave was accepted and liked by the majority of people on WW, I know that some people actually met him, they will make their own mind up, opinions are sometimes best kept to yourself.
