Well done. Bolton Council.. A purge on beggars in their town centre has resulted in convictions on several beggars prosecuted under publics space protection orders (same order for drinking alcohol in the streets and riding pedal cycles in pedestrian areas. Those prosecuted were fined between £100 - 200. With £100 court costs... All those prosecuted had places of abode.
Give nowt to Scroungers.

Maybe it has already started. As I mentioned on another thread I shopped at Asda on Monday morning, no beggars at either of the main entrance doors. Went in by the door near to the cash machines and out at the other main door.

They should do that guy in the light blue anorak in Hindley He's not homeless he has a flat and is on benefits He sits outside Bonkers shop, Tesco at Hindley and Hindley Green and Aldi at Hindley Green and Leigh Aldi to mention a few. He asks for 40p for his busfare then goes in the bookies when he gets enough. SCUM.

I know or should I say I know of him, he gets picked up by a man and woman twice a week from Bonkers and taken for a meal. He can get a bit aggressive if he doesn't get his own way.

Back on topic, and "Bolton Council.. A purge on beggars in their town centre ...".
What a pity they are active against the beggars, yet completely ignore the fact that there are many drug dealers operating from shops all around Bolton (and most other towns) and the sheer number of Asian families claiming benefits through numerous loopholes.
