Like 'bluesman' says, Millingford Brook goes through Haydock Park, forms Dean Dam, then Newton Lake and joins the Sankey Brook behind the Fiddle in t'Bag at Burtonwood.


And Dougie, Seneley Green Parish is, and always has been, sat on the Mersey Plane.
So, doesn't it follow that it's rightly in 'Merseyside'?


PS: The Environment Agency call it Millingfod (Newton) Brook!
