Good morning my dear friends... <3^_^
Monday 22nd November..24C..partly cloudy

So good to be back after a bit of a crazy week. We didn’t get much of a holiday as our Premier Steve Marshall called a 6 day hard lock down to avoid a potentially devastating second wave of the virus in South Australia on Wednesday 18th at 1:00pm....we had checked into the motel on the beautiful Lacepede Bay on Wednesday midday ...after a 3 hour drive...only to have to drive back on the same day as we had to stay in the room and not move for 6 days...of course better done at home. The lock down came into force at midnight so we had plenty of time to get back. Beans on toast for lunch...cleaned up packed up and we were back on the road by 2:30pm....at least the scenery was different on the way home. Fortunately the lockdown only lasted for 3 days...but there are still restrictions in place...a crazy week indeed...

Ok back to normality...let’s have some wordy fun!

Anagram for today....... E C O V T R A X A

Many belated Birthday Wishes to you Ray.x

Thursday 17th..23C...cloudy

Well done with your words everyone..

Vince, you got the 9 letter word..

A chilly morning...nice to be rid of the heat for a few days. Off to get a haircut this afternoon...our daughter Julie will pick me up as she has Thursdays off. She chose to do longer hours and only do a four day week. Lucky her hubby is picking up more work after getting his job back. They are better off than a lot of people. Hopefully the vaccine will do its job eventually...we won’t see it until next year...but that is not far off.. :)

A very good Boxing Day to all,
Well, the ‘big day’ has come and gone, I hope we’ve all survived it.
We had a leisurely day and around 5-30 a full turkey evening dinner with all the trimmings and a glass of Cava.
On Boxing day we have a tradition of using up the left over potatoes and veg and having bubble and squeak with bacon and sausage breakfast (sorry Mo), washed down with a huge mug of tea.

A local walk this arvo then back for a turkey salad, what else ha ha .

Lizzie, good to know that generally speaking Oz is doing OK through this dreadful pandemic.
From midnight last night the North West of England including Greater Manchester which includes Wigan and Bolton has been raised to Tier 4 status, so things are getting scary.
We shop once a week and that is it.
This is to wish all our lovely wordy family a very happy and prosperous New Year.

A very Happy and Healthy New Year to all.
Well, this is a pleasant surprise, I wasn’t expecting any anagrams today, so this is a real bonus.
A cloudy cold day only 2C is forecast.
It’s too cold for walkies, I think we’ll have a drive out this arvo.

Mo, hope you are doing OK, I was thinking of you last night.
We had a quiet night watching TV, and then later a few scoops and early to bed, about 12-30.
We go upstairs to watch the fireworks at midnight, but it was a strangely muted affair with Covid restrictions.

A very good day to all.
A dullish cloudy cool day here in Blighty, 8C is forecast with a 25% chance of rain.
We were due to have our Covid jab yesterday evening.
Parking is a nightmare at our doctors, so we parked on Sainsbury’s car park yesterday afternoon and walked up to the Doctors to check the journey time .
When we got there, the man on the Doctor’s car park controlling the flow of patients was a neighbour and friend of ours,
We told him we were due at 6-05 and 6-10 that evening, he said “go in now, they’ll do you”
We got in the queue and were done in 10 minutes, we were soooo pleased not having to turn out in the dark.
We were told to expect to be a little ‘off’ for 48 hours, thankfully up to now no problems.

Mo, enjoy the slightly warmer spell we’re having. I B hate the cold.
Take care.

Vince, enjoy your Spanish warmth

Hello all, just got back from Podiatric Nurse at Boston House, had a painful thing on the base of my heel,so she asked lots of questions seeing as I'd never been there before, said it seems it's something that the Covid left me with..but seeing her again April just to make sure...by Jove it's cold out there waiting for the bus.
