Ouija Board

Started by: dostaf (inactive)

I know they've been dicussed many times on here, but while contemplating in cloisters earlier, I had a thought:

If some young uns were to have a dabble, would they get messages spelled out in textspeak from the likes of Henry The Eighth?

Similar case 3:00

Do not watch if of a nervous disposition, or a prude.

Never, ever use a ouija board, that's all I'll say on the matter.

I knew a nurse some years ago who couldn't work for six months after dabbling with a ouija board...Michael Bentine's book 'Through a Door Marked Summer' is a must if anyone's thinking of trying one.

Mac..it's a brilliant read..you won't be able to put it down once you get it..and it's certainly food for thought.

I like reading, I like Mr. Bentine, so it's a sure fire winner.

Momac, I found the book on Amazon, the question is, should I buy it new, or used?

Found an excerpt, it's about his Son?

Mac..I suppose it depends how fussy you are,but a golden rule with a used book is don't lick your fingers when turning the pages..I've just been upstairs looking everywhere for my M.Bentine and can't find it anywhere..when Beech Hill library closed, someone else took over..(it's now a charity set up)I took loads of books, like you I like reading..you can take 3 books out at a time and don't need to take them back if you want to keep them..now I've got an awful feeling it got mixed up with all the others that went there..it's one of the books I wouldn't have taken..so tomorrow we are going to the library to see if it's there..the only trouble is they've hundreds of books in there, keeping my fingers crossed..if I find it and you don't get one, depending where you live, you could borrow it..I don't mind if you keep it for a year or so...also I hate losing something,I seem to carry on looking for ever and a day.
