What's happened
To my inner sanctum, where I can post without a care.
Laugh at lime chewers with gay abandon.
Post clips like this, where people hurt themselves, and swear like troopers.
All these illegals, swanning about like they own the place.
Woe is me.

I recal an ancient tale handed down through generations about an inner sanctum of a monastery, if this helps.
Marvelous wood panelling everywhere and a lovely parquet floor. None of that Wickes laminate stuff.
I can even smell the Pledge® as I type. (Not that I ever visited the place)

My atheist thread was removed without so much as a by your leave.
Am surprised my soft soap post on VG's filthy thread wasn't removed as well, to be honest. The Puritans usually poke their own eyes out at such graphics.

Apologies for finger pointing.
I can live with it. But had someone else done it, there'd be an outcry from some people.

Am reminded of a conversation I had a while ago.
It went something like this...
'I watched that film about the Elephant man earlier'
'Really? Was John Hurt in that one?'
'No, I think he was OK'

I googled 'his mother was frightened by a horse' t'ohter day and that tale came up.
Which reminds me, where's me Green Book thread.
Replied: 13th Nov 2012 at 17:48

Nooooooo. I need just need to update it.
The phrase was meant to suggest that a person who's mam was frightened by a donkey/elephant or whatever during pregnancy would look like one.
