Could a Scooby Diver swim through it and take some pictures

I think Alan Davies and his team tried to explore the sough a few years ago but had to abandon it for safety reasons.

It's a fairly good video compared to some of these Urban Explorers efforts. He has fairly well researched his subjects but there are some errors or maybe misunderstandings, probably due to him not being from a mining background.

Oh and by the way, did you hear the knocking or banging noise when he stuck his head or microphone down the inspection hatch of the shaft? On some comments on facebook sites people have speculated that something is still working down the shaft or someone is down there!!!
The knocking is actually a piling rig operating somewhere in the Aspull/Blackrod area and the sound is vibrating through the ground.

Hello Chris, Glad you spotted this post, I know it's within your area of expertise, but the entrance which was shown in the film is not the one which is usually associated with the Great Haigh Sough, it's usually the entrance bellow the water fall. Are they part of the same system.

I dunno Steve. I have never been to that end of the sough and don't know too much about it but I'll do some research.
