Sorry Dougie I have no asto turf to offer but, If you remember, I asked for a friend of mine about the work going on in the Holy Trinity Church grounds,
Well that person went there today and another person with a strimmer was cutting grass, My friend filled 2 large bin liner bags with real grass and left them there for collection,
So fill your boots Dougie, real grass freshly cut, wrapped and ready for,
' click and collect'
sorry mate, little joke, I know its no good to ya, could't resist, I hope you get some,

Dougie when I wanted some, I phoned the DW indoor football place and asked them what they did with there worn out grass.
They said they had some in a skip at the side of the building and I could help myself to it.
Trouble was it was in heavy big pieces and hard to get out of the skip on my own.
A lot of these carpet places now sell it so ask them if they have any cut offs

There is a man in our Lane who has a lovely rich green lawn and the bottom 2 foot section is plastic grass, This is because he has trained his dog to wee there so it won't spoil the real grass,
clever hey ?

Dougie it shouldn't get the go a head to continue, your daft idea might look OK in sunny Beverley Hill were they have white marble graves.
But its not OK in ancient cemetery with old weather beaten neglected gravestones.
If you want to brighten the place up plant lots of crocus and daffodil bulbs and other ground covering plants like sedums.

Dougie, you are doing a good job, THEY, never saw that graveyard last year, It was waist high with grass, weeds and uncared for , Tommy 2 pokes is just having a 'pop' cos he's got no punters in his taxi, tuther mon is a wind up merchant who never does anything positive,
keep on keeping on Dougie, I know you are a caring human being, good on ya pal,

Im not saying they havent worked hard to clean up the graveyard Dougie, its you daft grass idea that is out of place in this graveyard.
What is going to happen to it when its windy it will be blown away and end up wrapped around somebody's grave.
If you still think it looks nice lay some more, but fist ask the vicars is it OK and I bet he says no.

Dougie have you pinned it down ? There are special ones you can buy on Amazon then it won't move in the wind, you don't need a video of it wrapped round a headstone.

Replied: 28th Aug 2020 at 06:37

Then wind works in mysterious ways and move things a bigger and heavier that a strip of fake grass.
What will happen if Dougie goes to the expense of buy special pins from Amazon to anchor it, is the pins hole will get enlarged overtime and it will become loose, it will be like a poor neglected worn out flag flapping on its pole.
