History of Wigan   (Help with ancient and recent history.)

Pam, Arnold never stayed in Wigan. He stayed in Orrell, long before the Wigan Metropolitan Borough was created, so I'm afraid 'the kids' have got one over on you!

And Joe Gormley was from Ashton, not Wigan!
