I'm surprised nobody's mentioned Arnold Schwarzenegger, after all, he did live in the Metropolitan Borough of Wigan for at least six weeks!
It's a pity Mike Tyson stayed in Haydock for four days, and not Ashton. You could have 'adopted' him too!
