Hello all, been back about an hour, boy what a long journey it is..four hours
non stop driving..well Newton Hall is a fantastic venue, our bedrooms for
overnight stay were just out of this world,I feel like setting fire to ours lol..the service was beautiful, the bride...now my Daughter in law looked just
gorgeous,my Son looked handsome of (of course) at last he's found
the perfect one for him, she's lovely.
Then...during the wedding breakfast,Craig a biggest Scottish fellow with a
great kilt on was going round seeing to everyone,he was lovely too..I looked at Cliff,he was pale,I asked him if he was tired, because he'd been
awake since fourish and been driving miles all of a sudden he fell forward, knocked glasses everywhere, was unconscious for seconds, the resident paramedics came he was vomiting got hum outside.Craig thr MC
rang for an ambulance,,took him to a Hospital 50 minutes away waited and waited Cliff being Cliff said he was fine after being tested,we were told it
would be another couple of hours before being see,he signed himself out..the nurse came to tell us the owner of NewtonHall was on the phone.
he said he'd ordered a taxi for us (there was no ambulances available).it cost sixty pounds, everyone was concerned..wanted to take us home in
our car, then someone bring them back..I can't tell you how lovely
everybody was ...this happened some years ago with Cliff, nobody can find anything wrong,he's fine now drove us home..looks like a farmer right now..poor Son been on the phone non stop..but both said it didn't spoil their
day at all..I'll never forget the look on his face when he was out like a light.
Sorry about this news but I have to tell somebody...see you all tomorrow.x
