Handbags   (The sad, the bad and the ugly. Non-productive stuff here.)

Started by: veg grower (inactive)

When I moved into my current property there were gas and electricity prepayment meters installed. Before I could arrange to have them removed I had to pay for my gas and electricity every week on a card. It actually made me more aware of what I was spending on gas and electricity and was an incentive to actually use as little as possible, switch things off etc. and monitor how much everything cost to run (eg: tumble dryer) previously I hadn't bothered at all. I am actually paying less in gas and electricity than I was before I moved here several years ago. I also have an energy monitor.
