Actually, you are wrong about the conscription as apart from the fact that it was for only two years, I am not that old.
In regard to your last paragraph, what else can I say, but carry on with the great work you are doing for the armed forces and their families.
Sorry, if I went a bit too far on the matter, as I was not sure if you were genuine, but I now I am.
Over the years, I have met a lot of people who have claimed to have done a lot for the armed forces, but in reality have done nothing apart from attend the yearly rememberence parade, if that.
In my case, I will continue my limited suport by continuing to buy a poppy and a cross for the garden each year, and continue to buy the draw tickets that the Royal British Legion keep sending me during the course of a year and of course attend a rememberence service.
Hope my comments will end the matter.
