I've lost a bit of knowledge that I knew.

I've mentioned something on here about theatrical makeup and numbers given to particular colours.

These numbers are part of an expression. Something not unlike all at sixes and sevens.

But not that. Phrase meant you could tell a theatrical by the color of their skin.

I think greasesticks are the American term for the individual 'crayons'.
