The marina is on the Leeds Liverpool Canal, not Pennington Flash, and is on the opposite side of the canal, quite a distance from Pennington Flash. No connection.
The Marina is in Westleigh, Pennington Flash is in Lowton.

Imean, you wouldn't call Wigan Cemetery "Scotman's Flash Cemerery". Would you?
