Saw just ont telly, the Garabit Viaduct in southern France, built from 1880 to 1884 by Gustave Eiffel, who later constructed the Eiffel tower. (On the programme, 'Impossible Railways')

Bridge still in use.

It did not say on the broadcast, but I recognised the bridge, and have checked on Google: it is the bridge portrayed in the film 'Cassandra Crossing', the setting then being transferred to Eastern Europe.
