I can vaguely remember a try-saving tackle from that game, but not the actual players involved.I do remember, however, walking down Library Street in the summer of that year, and seeing the Challenge Cup on display in Timberlakes' showroom.I actually went in and had the pleasure of seeing it close up and handling it.Did anyone else have that same experience ?
The first final i attended was 1970 against Castleford when Colin Tyrer was viciously assaulted in broad daylight by one Keith Hepworth.
