Another popular watering hole that was frequented by one or two Wiganers on the Wembley trips was the Lion and Lamb. Only five minutes from Euston, not sure if it's still there or not. May have gone to make way for the new British Library, I know they knocked down the Eliza Doolittle for said building
Think the Rising Sun on Euston Rd is still open, a few pints were supped in there as well before the obligatory game of tick and pass, while waiting for the train
