How very happy it was to watch a young English man win a golf competition on American soil ,by winning the US OPEN , he is a young man of some 27 years and hails from Sheffield ,UK He is Matt Fitzpatrick. His monster putt on the 13th was a joy to see it drop in . He walks away with a purse of $3,150,000 ,and what with Rory McIIroy winning the Canadian open with a purse of $8,700,000 . NOT bad pickings for 4 rounds of golf hey?? But anyway congratulations to both of them helping to break the American strangle hold it's a pleasure seeing it come this way over the Atlantic.
