Why such vitriol ACS?

I never suggested that City were even close.....yet, as per my statement:
"I know City wouldn't be top of the list (come back in twenty years time )"

I don't know which is your preferred team but I assumed it was Liverpool. As Liverpool are far more successful historically than any other club I assumed it was so.

BTW, City did win a European trophy before Liverpool so you could say that City started the success trail and Liverpool carried it on (or trafford did, followed by City then Liverpool).

Or maybe even PNE then etc etc
