I'm afraid - "standing shoulder to shoulder and supporting the TOWN OF WIGAN AND BEING VERY PROUD OF WHAT A SMALL TOWN HAVE ACHIEVED OVER RECENT YEARS" - won't help the football club in any way whatsoever.

I would suggest that the so-called 'supporters' support the football and rugby clubs by attending matches, at least.
