Sports (Talk about balls here.)
It's easier to look back now and highlight the finishing points totals.
But the results of one team can have an effect on the determination and motivation of a team chasing them.
Say the break hadn't come in March and Liverpool had dropped points /losts games in say their next four matches (who knows?) that got cancelled, City would have been smelling blood and would have certainly finished with a higher points total.
They will also say once the league had been won they took their foot off the gas ( hence finishing with 81 points) and started to look at putting all their efforts into winning the Champs League.
Good grief I can't believe i'm actually making a case for City concerning anything. Having said that though it shows you who our true rivals are.
