I didn't move to Bryn. I am a born and bred Ashtonian. I lived away for a while. Then moved back to the area, but not Bryn. To a place where I never dreamt the ridiculous noise levels from the track would carry.
Millingford Brook? Pshaw. You get your info from books and maps. Mine comes from experience. It's really called the Market Brook, by proper Ashtonians that is.
Never mind the 'Liverpoolers', you must be an outsider youself, so little real knowledge of the area do you display.
The council are daft enough they would probably take notice of your request to silence the birds. But I'm not sure which the majority of people (in our democracy) would prefer to silence: birds, or motorbikes (or, Trixie, folks going to work). How do you think that vote would go?
