I am sorry about your wife's illness, PeterP. She is lucky to have you. It is precisely your wife's sort of people that banks and other institutions are not providing a service. Although today's generation can glibly work with computers and modern technology, the number of people relying on themselves is growing and in a few years time many of these youngsters will be in your position, many on their own.

I know we're supposed to be working towards a cashless society, but I can't see how that will work at present. Plus the threat of power outages due to the shortage of any sort of energy is going to hit the online services.
