I forgot to mention that I got a Taxi the other day and Vinny Kays son was the driver. I asked how Vinny was doing and he is fine. Did'nt ask his son how old would Vinny be,, any ideas???
Remember doing a stint on nights, around 1980 / 81 for a couple of weeks but ended up doing close on 2 years and going in on Saturday and Sunday nights to cover the "travelling" with a Deputy and ended up with Vinny. I started at 10pm till the morning but Vinny started a 12 noon and was still there and that was the norm. He wasnt 7 stone wet through but must have had and still has the heart of a lion. He lives on a farm in Wrightington and still working... What a chap...
