In 1939, William was living with his Family at 28, Swinley Lane. He was Born on 1st October 1926. A Brother and his Wife are also there..Thomas born 4th January 1911, a Dataler underground, His Wife Mildred was a Surface Hand at a Colliery (A Pit Brow Lass). His Father Sylvester born 9th November 1887, is a Miner Fireman-Colliery Deputy Underground.
Sylvester and Elizabeth Ellen Ellison were married in 1910 the second Quarter. Sylvester's Father was Thomas Fairhurst, and his Mother was Alice. He was Baptised at Wigan All saints Church, on the 5th December 1887. He Died on the 30th October 1955 at his home at 2, Church Street Standish, and was Buried at Ince cemetery, Grave C1069. Where his wife Elizabeth Ellen joined him in 1973, after her death at Broomfield Close Standish. His Parents Thomas and Alice are buried in the same Cemetery.
