Here's one of Clarries songs for you,Pat,found myself singing in the bath again yesterday,Join in Harry.

Soldier,soldier,wont you marry me
with your musket fyffe and drum.
no sweet maid I cannot marry thee
For I have no coat to put on.
So up she went to her grandfather's chest
and got him a coat of the very, very best
She got him a coat of the very, very best
And the soldier put it on

Soldier,soldier wont you marry me
with your musket,fyffe and drum.
Oh,no sweet maid I cannot marry you
For I have no boots to put on.
So up she went to her grandfather's chest
And got him some boots of the very, very best
She got him some boots of the very, very best
And the soldier put them on.

Soldier,soldier wont you marry me
With your musket,fyffe and gun
Oh,no sweet maid I cannot marry thee
For I have a wife of my own.

Can't think what the moral is but Clarrie certainly made an impression on me.
