Information on findmypast has some damaged records showing he was an army reservist living at Betley Street Platt Bridge,
Fresh complexion ,grey eyes,red hair,a collier with blue scars on his back.
Further army records with same description show next of kin as his father John of 69"Bethuly"( hand written) Street Platt Bridge.
That he married Cicely Cadman on 31.12.1904
