Hi mrs m,

Thomas was an orphan his mother died in 1921 in the workhouse. His father emigrated to Canada in 1926 and he died in Canada in 1938 and as far as I know he never came back to see Thomas and John.

I am hoping to find out how long he stayed in the workouse maybe there will be some record of him?

If he stayed till 13 - 14 yrs old he would think of himself as an orphan.
