OBITUARY
Former Hindley
Schoolmistress
The death occurred on Friday last week at her residence "Edgeworth" Ebberton Road , Rhos - on -Sea of Mrs Leah Wych (nee Bradshaw)
Mrs Wych, who was in her 82nd year , was formerly a member of the teaching profession and served her apprenticeship at St. Stephen's C of E School Whelley. Later she was certificated assistant mistress at All Saints C of E Girls School Hindley, and at the New Jerusalem School Warrington Lane Wigan, leaving the latter school to take up her appointment as Headmistress of Castle Hill C of E School Hindley, where she remained until her retirement 25 years later. At the time during her service in Hindley, Mrs Wych was principal of the Argyle Street Council Evening School for Girls, and of the Women's Institute. She was an active member of the Hindley Branch of National Union of Teachers and served the Association in various capacities .
After the death of her husband in 1930 she went to reside in Rhos - on Sea
A service in St. Stephens Church Whelley , where for many years Mrs Wych was a Sunday School Teacher and a member of the Church Choir, was conducted by , Rev. W. H. Vaughan and Rev. W. A. Wiffen. interment was at Ince Cemetery.
What I don't understand is that the above is dated the 9th October and says interment WAS at Ince Cemetery , but the records show she was buried on the 10th October
All the same I hope this answers your question

PS it appears Leah and her husband were related possibly cousins before marriage ??? more research required???
