It's quite ironic that the thread on Barbara's passing is next to the thread about my dad, because he used to make us laugh every time he called her the 'poison dwarf.' I never knew why he thought that way about her. I personally didn't mind her at all and watched her regularly on Eastenders, though when she died on the show was the very last time I did watch it. She had a rich past and was a character in real life too. I was intrigued to see what she would have to say when interviewed by Piers Morgan, repeated on TV recently, and found her a lovely, kind soul - something she was known to be throughout her life.
