Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

it's right behind my house.The entrance road and pit buildings are opposite the entrance to the gypsy camp.There was a bus stop and shelter on bicky lane.next to the New Zealand bridge.The entrance road is now that to Blakeleys rubbish dump.
You don't need to go as far as the Queens at Bicky.I'm looking at the site through an upstairs window.The road way opposite the Queens is the one taken by pitmen going to the Maypole.The Junction buildings shown on the maps were the engine sheds.The pit yard ,baths and winding house were where Blakeleys buildings are,the bath house is still there.
