Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

Jouell, the incident that I referred to was the fact that there were a group of 14-15 year old playing near the trees Dougie mentioned, and the then vicar attacked one of them. This caused the lad in question to receive medical attention. It was nicely swept under the carpet.

I cant remember the name of the vicar at the time, but it was the one that died somewhere around 1960 (give or take a couple of years).
