Don't believe what you read on Wikipedia, MintBallsJoe, half of it's rubbish. If Jackdog wanted to, he could change Wikipedia to say it's called 'Market Brook', and all the World would believe it!

PS: There's loads of brooks flowing out of Ashton in Makerfield. Maybe that is the one at the bottom of the hill at Stubshaw Cross?
