Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

Hi Trixie Happy new year, I've just posted this on another thread for Tonker I know I've no chance of winning against him but I think most would agree with me from Downall Green

O.K. Seneley Green was always there we know that Park colliery on Liverpool road had a mine there in the 50s it was always know as the Seneley Green mine,

as far as I know the sign Seneley green was only placed at Downall green after the mistake with the brook it should have been rectified to leave Downall green,Garswood, and Simms Road, in Greater Manchester not move them to Merseyside against their wishes

Ask any of them but they may have change now they may like to be known now as a St-Helener or a Liverpooler
