The land at the Dam Corner (Bluebell Wood)it is both sides of the brook that is for sale.The wood near the green and the wood were Old Bill Ryder had his pen.In total there is 1 and a half acres.The common land is the grass verge and the pen and the woodland is greenbelt.The land for sale belonged to Esther Ferns from Spinndle Hillock and was sold when she died about 12years ago.And was bought by Spratty from Spinndle Hillock.Beware we have been told Travelers have been taking an interest in it,think all Downall greeners should get together and buy it.
