Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

yeah lelsey Joe mc allister was md at the time
i remember when silent night took us over, we all went to Barnoldswick for a pie and mushy peas supper as a form of introducing silent night night to us.
some other names i remember are jimmy baxendale, harold booth, percy the boiler man (whose wife mabel also worked there) there was also norman daley, harry eastham, alan moseley and his wife bessy, raymond burrows, norman greenall, ken lord, eric jones, frank stringfellow, eric ward,tony snape,
if i think of anymore i will post them, most of then people i have mentioned worked either in the assembly shop or upholstery shop cos thats where i myself was working.
