Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

I remember the Coronation Day celebrations....it was so much fun, yes the cup ( wish I still had it) and goody bag,races for prizes, am I right in remembering the weather was lovely... I know all in all it was a Lovely day.....

You're right about the camera, it would be fantastic to see DG as it was... the younger ones have no idea what it was like back then... I remember Rectory road having Coaches ( Saloons, as they were sometimes called) all along the road ready to take all us children on the big ( for us in those days)Village club trip....Great times
