Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

rbilly: I do remember Kath Roberts, she was in the same class as me at Rectory, and then later on at AGS. The one I remember was suesa. I was trying to joke a little with her but she missed it!

I tried to find some info about the Cory Lancaster band, but couldn't. Presumably, being connected to a mill, it was a Womens Brass Band. The Trinity band was a Girls Silver Band, was it not? So on a technicality, it could still have been the only one! Whichever way it goes, we should be proud of the fact that a small community such as DG could have got the band together, and kept it going for all these years.
