Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

Not defending Tonker here but this actually happend to me after getting off the I-O-M ferry at Llandudno in the 70s,I was picked out and escorted to a shed to be checked as a IRA suspect the first question they asked was my name and where do you come from my reply was WIGAN, after more questions one of them being the name of the street I lived in latter my house number,they told me the address I had given wasn't in Wigan, then the penny dropped no I live in Ashton-in- Makerfield but we always say Wigan as everyone knows Wigan
