I am now totally confused as regards the numbers. Starting at Suttons, and working clockwise:

Suttons,12. Cunliffes,3. Cromptons,9. Someone at ? Someone at ?? Scullys,6. Davies's,5. Someone at ??? Heatons,4. Someone at ???? Shepherds, 2. Turners,1.

Is that correct? If so, how did they think when numbering the houses? They seem to jump all over the place.
