Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

ppnw 38817, In the 50s there were two mine shafts on the left hand side going from D G to Winstaley rd, they were quite near to the house on the corner but that land was outcropped ,they didn't go as far as the shafts but what happened to the brick walls round the shafts , i don't know, maybe they have been filled, like i said the land running level with Birch Grove was outcropped,
