Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

I remember the siren, but I never knew what it was for. It was on a tall wooden post which was attached to the garages. These were a big block of about five units. We used to climb on them all the time. There were also some individual garages at the side and Billy Collier fell through the roof of one, landed on a car which broke his fall.We all got into bother though.
Billy sadly died a long time ago, he lived in Poplar Ave.
