Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

The chippie at the back of Annie Deacon's was owned by Alice Barton, where the garage was behind the "Wool shop".
I have a listing of Rectory Road in 1950 which gives the house number and the Occupiers.
It makes interesting reading.

The chippie at the top of Rectory Road was Tommy Aspinall's, not sure if he started the business or if someone had it before him.
