Places (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)
No problem Dave.
It's all done with code and brackets. Think of the brackets as boxes. You put a code with the address of your item in one box, then a name for your link, then another box of code.
The address.
If you look at the top of this page you will see it's own address. http://www.wiganworld.co.uk/communicate/mb_message.php?opt=f2&opt2=&msd=447285&offset=0&subject=Crank%20and%20Burtons.
Now to get a photo's address, right click on it and see 'properties'.
This pic's address is http://www.wiganworld.co.uk/album/5/6ue73qom.jpg
So with that information you create the code and brackets

Then type a name for the link (or a comment) eg Crank & Burton
Then a closing code, again in brackets;

It is important that you don't leave any gaps in the line and that you use lower case letters for the url and /url parts.
Also note that the brackets must be the square type [ and ].
So, when it's al put togerher it will look like this;
Crank & Burton
You can only read that because I made the forward-slash red.
Otherwise you'd just see
Crank & Burton
Have a go, there's always someone who will help you out.
If you make a mistake and just a line of type appears, don't delete it. This way it is possible to see where the problem is.
Have fun.
When you sort that out, you can also stick pictures directly on the post in a similar way but slightly different code. img and /img instead of url and /url

Gets this;
