Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

does anybody remember pyes and dainties shops in rectory road,and the old school or is there only me?

yes but too all the old-old Downall Greeners Danties shop was Ball's I think they was some relation to Ball's and took it over,the shop across the road was Shaw's shoe shop taken over by Deakin's and at the back was a chippy and Shaws cobblers you would take them it at the front and pick them up at the back
