Any old greeners remember the bowles off rectory rd, they lived a few doors from tommy evans shop facing everton st, the father a window cleaner {can't remember his name} worked on the local estate, the son ronnie was a coal bagger for tommy aspinall, and daughter dorothy {had an illness}and would walk streets shouting at everyone and was in her element really,{shame} but they were a hard working family and very popular in the community.
