Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

When me & TUmtingle were young lads the first shop at the bottom of Rectory Rd was the Co-Op , next door was the Co=op butchers Managed by Billy Walker ray took over when Billy retierd, Next was Jack Pyes was Balls & accross the road was Charlie Shaws a cobbler then on the same side was Ormrods when they closed Tommy Evans moved in, then crossing the road a bit higher up was the Post Office run by Peter Cromton & his wife At the top of Rectory Road was Jimmy Shaws Then the Chippy. Dunns, Next forgot his name, then Malc & Margaret Cook , And thats it,,, But thats old D/OG.
