Places   (Help with places, streets and buildings in Wigan.)

I used to go to the old Student's Union club. BJH played an amazing set there. When it closed Malc MacKinder set up the FAG at the Newtown British Legion; some good bands on there including Budgie. I remember Tony Iommi being there one night - I think he had come to watch Gravy Train. When the rock night there got too much for the older British Legion regulars, it closed and Malk moved the FAG to an upstairs room in the Swan and Railway. I think it may have been still operating when the Casino rock night started.
